New services for delivering driving licences and vehicle registration cards, delivered in two hours within Dubai

New services for distributing driver's licences and vehicle registration cards have been launched by Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). These documents may now be provided in Dubai in two hours and to Abu Dhabi and Sharjah the same day.

The RTA said that a new service had been created for sending shipments to clients overseas.

The RTA performed 107,054 vehicle renewal transactions, 25,500 licence renewals, and 939 transactions to replace damaged or lost licences during the first quarter of this year. The authority also granted 732 foreign driving permits.
