Al Dhaid University's next endeavour will concentrate on obtaining honey from olive trees, which are renowned for requiring no pesticides at all. The news was made during Sharjah Radio and Television's "Direct Line" show.
The institution will also have a new veterinary college, vegetable and fruit farms, and cattle and poultry farms in addition to the honey project.
A pasture initiative to promote and enhance sheep breeds for milk and meat production will be managed by the institution.
The wheat farm, the Seven Sanabel project, the vegetable farm, and the dairy farm are just a few of the Sharjah-based initiatives that will further the university's scientific aims. Along with other buildings, centres, and labs, the institution also has a seed bank.
