Paying for parking in Dubai is about to become much more convenient. Tollgate operator Salik has partnered with Parkonic, the UAE’s largest private parking operator, to introduce improved parking solutions across various sites in Dubai. Parkonic will collaborate with Salik to implement its eWallet system at 107 locations, revolutionizing how residents and visitors pay for parking in the UAE.
The locations where Parkonic will be active include Central Park, Global Village, and The Beach – JBR in Dubai, as well as Arc Towers, Marsa Al Bateen, and the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Abu Dhabi. In Sharjah, the areas include Al Suhub, Al Qasba, Heart of Sharjah, Khorfakkan Beach, and Majaz Park P1, while in Fujairah, it will cover Umbrella Beach.
By early 2025, Salik’s eWallet will be available at around 135,000 parking spaces across the UAE, streamlining the parking payment process and providing a more seamless experience for both residents and visitors.
