New housing projects unveiled with 1,742 villas at a cost of more than Dh7 billion in Abu Dhabis suburban areas of West Baniyas and Al Samha regions

NewsIn the West Baniyas and Al Samha sectors of Abu Dhabi, local officials have unveiled new housing projects with 1,742 villas at a cost of more than Dh7 billion. The 1,500 residential villas, eight mosques, 14 commercial structures, gardens, and other amenities are all part of the West Baniyas residential complex. It will cost more than Dh6.3 billion to construct, take up 584.7 hectares of land, and be finished by the second quarter of 2027.
242 residential villas, two mosques, and a variety of retail spaces make up the Al Samha complex. It will cost more than Dh734 million to finish the project, which is being constructed on 53.4 hectares of land, by the fourth quarter of 2025.The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority and Q Holding have agreed to two contracts for the development of these projects.
Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, emphasised the authority's desire to create and maintain strong collaborations with the public and private sectors in order to provide creative solutions that address societal objectives in the Abu Dhabi emirate's housing sector.
According to Hamad Hareb Al Muhairi, director-general of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, providing adequate housing that complies with the most stringent technical requirements and takes into account the needs of the Emirati family is at the top of the authority's strategic priorities, which are carried out in accordance with the wise leadership of the UAE.
