New health insurance plan has been launched in Dubai to meet the healthcare needs of senior residents

In Dubai, a brand-new health insurance program has been introduced to address the medical requirements of senior citizens. It is billed as a first-of-its-kind program that guarantees elders access to a wide range of medical services, from sophisticated treatment to preventive care.

Dubai Insurance and Aster DM Healthcare have launched "Vibrance Senior."

The "indicative" premiums are determined by the person's medical history. The two plans are Dh5,000 and Dh3,000, respectively, with a 20% co-pay and an annual pharmacy maximum of Dh3,000. A Dh150,000 annual cap, free in-home health screenings during the first 30 days of policy activation, emergency coverage, and other benefits are examples of shared benefits.

The comprehensive package consists of:

- Specialized treatment for arthritis and chronic illnesses

- Management of chronic diseases

- Complete coverage, ranging from advanced tertiary care to preventive screenings

Access from home: TruDoc's telemedicine technology allows patients to receive follow-ups and consultations from the comfort of their own homes.

Seniors with chronic diseases are guaranteed to receive "personalised, data-driven care plans that can be accessed and monitored remotely" because to the plan's use of the newest technologies. Support is available by phone or app around-the-clock.

Teleconsultations encourage early diagnosis and assist elders cut down on needless outpatient trips. The representative went on to say that structured programs and preventive actions also lower hospital admissions and complications.
