New feature - ‘web authenticator code’ while using UAE Pass

Those who frequently use UAE Pass to access various websites, must be familar with a new feature called the "web authenticator code." The new security feature was unveiled in February of this year and takes effect UAE Pass is used to log in to a website on a laptop or desktop.

All UAE citizens, residents, and tourists have a single digital identification, known as the UAE Pass. It gives you internet access to a range of services offered by the public, semi-public, and private sectors. To simplify the process of visiting several websites, you can use the UAE Pass to log in and avoid creating multiple accounts.

You will have the option to log in using the UAE Pass if you are accessing your telecom account or the online banking site.

To continue, choose "Log in with UAE Pass" and provide your phone number, email address, or Emirates ID.

You will receive the following notice on the following page: There is a number at the bottom that says, "Open your UAE Pass app, select the number shown, and confirm to login." Assume the website displays the number 54 to you.

Click the "authentication request" message that the UAE Pass app should have sent to your phone.

There will be three distinct number selections visible to you. On your phone, you will see the number 54 along with two other alternatives in the example above. After making the appropriate selection, click "confirm."

In order to verify your identification, the app will then run a facial recognition check as well.

You will be able to access the website and log in after these security checks are complete.

The UAE Pass app will launch instantly when you choose the "log in using the UAE Pass" option. The app will employ face recognition to help you log in to it smoothly.

The Web Authenticator Code feature, according to the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), is entirely managed by a user-centric procedure that puts accuracy and security first at every stage.
