New edition of Global Village opened its gates to the public on Wednesday with lots new mesmerising shows

News EventGlobal Village, which reopened to the public on Wednesday, features a captivating hourly fire and laser display that takes place above the largest underwater LED screen in the world, Dragon Lake. With never-before-seen 3D projection spectacles, the renowned Dallah at the Gate of the World will also be the centre of attention.
The entertainment hub, which will be open until April 28, 2024, started a week earlier than normal this year and will feature a number of brand-new offerings. Besides the more than 195 rides and activities, Carnaval will feature the biggest House of Fear in the area and ten brand-new exhibits at Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium.

This year, Global Village is also launching Mini World, a brand-new attraction that honours many cultures with little versions of famous monuments, street food options, brand-new gaming and adventure areas, and a miniature golf area.
The location has 40,000 shows on a jam-packed schedule that includes street performances, concerts, and the brand-new Cyber City Stunt Show – Powered by Surge. The Main Stage will also feature international performances by AAINJAA, Fusion Japan, and DholFoundation. There will be beloved shows like PJ Masks and Peter Rabbit at the Kids' Theatre.
In addition to the four current routes that depart from different sites, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has added a fifth route, Route 107, which originates at Al Nahda Bus Station.
Ticket choices have been modified to accommodate all preferences. While the "Any Day" ticket allows flexibility for access on any day, including public holidays, the "Value" ticket encourages weekday visits and is good from Sunday through Thursday (excluding holidays).Tickets purchased on the mobile app or website receive a 10% discount. Any Day tickets would cost Dh30 at the gate while they are available for Dh27 online. As for Value tickets, they cost Dh25 at the gate and Dh22.5 if purchased online
More than 90 cultures will be presented to visitors through 27 pavilions, 3,500 retail stores, and a variety of food options.
Last year the destination welcomed a record-breaking 9 million guests, with more visitors expected this year. Operating Sunday through Wednesday from 4 p.m. to midnight, the location will be open until 1 a.m. on Thursday through Sunday. Tuesdays are only for women and their families, unless it's a public holiday.
