New bus service between UAE-Oman will connect Sharjah and Muscat; daily services commenced from February 27

NewsAccording to Mwasalat, the public transport firm, a new bus service between Sharjah and Muscat would connect the UAE and Oman. Following signing a contract with Sharjah's Roads and Transport Authority, the National Transport Company of Oman, Mwasalat, will begin regular services on February 27. Four trips are planned, two from Muscat and one from Sharjah. The service will function through Shinas.
23 kilos of checked baggage and 7 kg of hand luggage are permitted for each passenger. The starting fares are 29 Oman Rials (Dh276.66) and 10 Oman Rials (Dh95.40).
The first bus from Sharjah leaves the Al Jubail Bus Station at 6.30 am and arrives at Azaiba Bus Station at 2.30 pm. The second bus leaves at 4 p.m. from Sharjah and arrives in Muscat at 11:50 p.m. At 6.30 am, the first bus from Muscat will leave, and it will arrive in Sharjah at 3.40 pm. The second will depart at 4 p.m. from Muscat and arrive at Al Jubail Bus Station at 1 a.m.
