On the directive of Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, the ruler of Sharjah and a member of the Supreme Council, a new beach in Sharjah has been declared exclusively for women.
The 500-meter beach in Khorfakkan's Lulu'iya neighborhood will provide women with total seclusion. Along with these amenities, it will have a café, a clinic, and a prayer area.
The Sharjah Ruler also gave the go-ahead to build a pedestrian bridge in Khorfakkan city that would connect the Al Bardi 6 and Al Batha neighborhoods.
