This month, Dubai Watch Week (DWW) will return. The event will be held on Thursday, November 16, through Monday, November 20. Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons developed this much-anticipated event in 2015 to showcase luxury, horology, and companies that cross over into other industries like automotive and design.
DWW develops communities, offers distinctive chances for networking and creative interaction, and supports initiatives that share similar objectives.
Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) and Member of the Dubai Council, will serve as the patron of this event's sixth and largest edition.
The event offers a unique chance to learn about the most recent developments in the industry and is free of charge for citizens of the United Arab Emirates as well as guests from the watch community and other areas.
More than 60 of the most recognisable watch companies in the world will display their most recent models; many are anticipated to reveal special editions that will only be available at the event. Renowned speakers at DWW include François-Henry Bennahmias, CEO of Audemars Piguet; Daniela Dufour, watchmaker; Jean Arnault, director of watches at La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton; Nicholas Foulkes, author and historian; George Bamford, founder of Bamford Watch Department; Austen Chu, founder and CEO of Wristcheck; Tim Mosso, watch specialist and media director at WatchBox; and Wei Koh, founder of Grail Watch and Revolution Watch.
There will be stand-alone areas on the premises for high-end labels like Bulgari, Van Cleef & Arpels, CHANEL, Audemars Piguet, Hublot, Chopard, Ulysse Nardin, Girard-Perregaux, and Rolex. The Collector's Lounge will be a dedicated area during the event where local and global watch aficionados may congregate to attend seminars that have been carefully selected and to network.
