MoE and Ajman Free Zone have signed MoU to license higher education institutions HEIs in Ajman

In order to licence higher education institutions (HEIs) in Ajman, the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Ajman Free Zone have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU). The objective is to give students access to a variety of study alternatives that will help them pursue their hobbies and objectives and make them more marketable to employers while also offering top-notch higher education inside the emirate.

Dr. Mohamed Al Mualla, the MoE's Undersecretary for Academic Affairs, and Ismail Al Naqi, the Director-General of the Free Zones Authority in Ajman, signed the Memorandum of Understanding. Dr. Al Mualla emphasised that the MoU supports the MoE's efforts to develop a cutting-edge, internationally competitive educational system that satisfies the demands of the labour market going forward.

To achieve sustainable growth and construct a knowledge-based society, this aim will better position community members to compete in all spheres of life. In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the MoU makes it easier for any HEI associated with the Ajman Free Zone to receive a commercial licence. The institutional licence and programme accreditation from the Ministry's Commission for Academic Accreditation department are also required of HEIs that receive a commercial licence from the Ajman Free Zone.
