MOCCAE has announced the upgrade of nine of its digital services making them more accessible and easier for the public

Nine digital services of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) have been upgraded. These improvements are a part of the ministry's commitment to create and develop public services in accordance with the "Services 2.0" initiative, which was initiated in July 2023 in collaboration with the Emirates Programme for Excellence in Government Service, and to stay up to date with government directives. The ministry is eager to keep enhancing the services it offers by making them more accessible and easier for the public to utilise through additional channels, as well as by adding new features that make transactions simpler, more comfortable, and faster for clients.

The ministry launched the "Services 2.0" initiative to redesign its offerings and utilise cutting-edge technology to produce the best outcomes in line with the demands, preferences, and needs of its clients. The nine services are concentrated in two areas: imports and licence renewal. Clients may now renew their licences for using a fishing boat, caring for animals, engaging in agricultural activities, and operating a business involving aquatic species using digital services. Additionally, while importing live animals and birds, agricultural consignments, animal feed and fodder, animal products and byproducts, disinfectants, veterinary supplies, and animal care items, they will be able to utilise digital services.
