With a 575-seat theater, eleven dance and rehearsal rooms, and a new restaurant, Mall of the Emirates' New Covent Garden is set to be a creative hub. West End musicals, Arabic dramas, ballet, comedy, opera, family performances, and concerts are among the top-notch stage productions that the theater is expected to offer to the mall.
The new live arts venue is being brought to Dubai by prominent industry specialists, so you can be sure that it will be of the greatest caliber when it opens. New Covent Garden was created by pop diva Lisa Scott-Lee of the legendary 90s band Steps and choreographer and creative director Johnny Shentall-Lee.
It is anticipated that both domestic and foreign celebrities would perform and refine their skills in the rehearsal studios.
The first performances are to arrive in the first quarter of 2025, so we won't have to wait long to see New Covent Garden open.
Additionally, the renowned Pineapple Dance Studios will open its first location outside of London in Dubai. It will give people of all ages and skill levels a place to explore the world of dance and the performing arts.
The new venue will host its debut performance in partnership with Live Nation Middle East.
