Luxury airline startup Beond announced its commercial operations with inaugural flights scheduled for next month

Beond, a luxury airline startup based in Dubai, said on Wednesday that it will begin operating commercially with first flights planned for next month. The recently established private airline also displayed its first aircraft, an Airbus A319 at Dubai World Central's Al Maktoum International airport that can accommodate 44 guests in an opulent all-lay-flat layout. Beond's first flights are slated to depart from November 9 and arrive in Zurich, Munich, and Riyadh. All flights in business class will be handled by it.

The airline also revealed additional flights that would launch in late March 2024 from Milan and Dubai. Over the following five years, 32 aircraft and 60 destinations are planned. Beond will transport passengers from Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific to the Maldives using a fleet of lay-flat Airbus A320 family aircraft. Mid-November will see the debut of this Beond aircraft on exhibit at the Dubai Air Show. The fleet will grow by another Airbus aircraft in late 2023 or early 2024. Depending on the origin, one-way rates begin at 1,500 euros (Dh6,000) per person.
