Louvre Abu Dhabi announced the arrival of five exceptional artefacts on loan from Mexico

The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, María Teresa Mercado Pérez, and Louvre Abu Dhabi Chairman Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak announced the arrival of five remarkable artifacts on loan from the National Institute of Anthropology and History in Mexico. 

These priceless artifacts, which include a ceremonial mask from Calakmul, a recently discovered Maya archaeological site, have traveled to the area for the first time and will be on display in the museum till at least April 2025.
