NewsThe deadline for private sector enterprises with 50 or more employees to satisfy semi-annual Emiratisation objectives is Friday, July 7, according to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE).
In a statement, MoHRE said “Starting from July 8, we will review compliance with Emiratisation targets for the first half of 2023, which call for a one per cent growth in the number of Emiratis working in skilled jobs in private sector companies.”
“Non-compliant entities will face a financial contribution/fine of Dh42,000 for each Emirati who has not been employed, along with the remaining financial contributions from 2022.”
The ministry extended the deadline for achieving semi-annual Emiratisation objectives from June 30 to July 7, taking into account Arafat Day and Eid Al-Adha holidays, giving enterprises additional time to achieve their commitments.
