International students can apply for Al Qasimia University Sharjah's scholarship programmes

A scholarship project in Sharjah will not only allow students to study in the UAE for free,  but will also cover their basic expenses such as lodging, food, and visas.

International students can apply for Al Qasimia University Sharjah's scholarship programmes. Students should be aware of the language requirements, as some courses need Arabic as a medium of teaching. If the student is not fluent in Arabic, they must first enrol in the Arabic Language Centre at the university before enrolling in one of the institution's curricula.

According to the university's website, the following are the scholarship program's eligibility requirements:

• The scholarship scheme is exclusively available to foreign students (those admitted from countries other than the UAE).

• Only international students are eligible for a monthly stipend set by the university.

• Only enrolled overseas students get a monthly stipend during the Summer Semester. Summer semester enrollment is optional.

• Students on scholarship are entitled to one round-trip ticket after completing 50% of the total credit hours of their specialisation and maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 2.00 throughout the study period.

• The university is responsible for all expenses related to student residence visas and Emirates ID cards.

• The institution provides student housing; however, the university solely provides on-campus transportation.

• If overseas students do not arrive in the UAE on time after being approved as students, their visa will be terminated.

• After graduation, students are given return tickets to their home countries; and the institution exclusively offers health insurance to overseas students.
