International Sailing Competition SailGP has a new worldwide series - partner - Mubadala

SailGP, an international sailing competition, has a new worldwide series partner in state-owned Mubadala Investment Company.

Building on Mubadala's fruitful two-year stint as the SailGP Season Grand Final title partner in San Francisco, this partnership will be even more successful. The new alliance will last for the following three seasons, or through the conclusion of 2026. It will centre on three main pillars: creating a more sustainable future through joint efforts in sport and business; fusing ethical investment with cutting-edge technology and innovation to advance new ideas; and promoting STEM education and sports at all levels to open doors for talent to flourish.

In line with the third pillar, Mubadala, an investor from Abu Dhabi, will also join the global league as a partner of SailGP Inspire, a youth and community engagement programme that aims to create a more inclusive sport from the ground up while fostering diversity, igniting change, and accelerating inclusion. around 14,665 young people from all around the world have been reached by the initiative through its three pathways—careers, study, and racing.

For SailGP Season 4, which kicks off June 16–17 with the Rolex United States Sail Grand Prix in Chicago at Navy Pier, Mubadala will join SailGP's exclusive group of partners alongside presenting partner Rolex, global partners Oracle, and Near. The headline sponsor of the redesigned New York Sail Grand Prix, which will take place in June of next year, is Mubadala.
