The Abu Dhabi Integrated Transport Centre, on its Facebook page, has issued a warning to drivers. The authorities encouraged drivers to move off the road, after minor incidents, to create place for other cars and prevent impeding traffic.
The directorate of Traffic and Patrols, Major Mahmoud Al Balushi, stated that alternative systems may be used to determine the accident's cause and that the automobiles do not need to be in the exact same configuration as when the accident occurred. Leaving broken down or accident-damaged vehicles on the road, or changing tyres there, exposes their drivers to hit-and-run threats and traffic accident dangers, he continued.
He affirmed that field seminars and awareness pamphlets are still used by the Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrol Directorate to spread awareness.
