Inheritance files can now be opened in Dubai through seamless procedures as per the announcement by Dubai Courts

Following a Thursday statement by the Dubai Courts, citizens and residents of Dubai can now open inheritance files using simple and seamless procedures.

Dubai Courts stated that the Inheritance Court at Dubai Courts would henceforth handle the registration of inheritance cases for minor heirs, replacing Dubai Endowments and the Community Development Authority in this capacity.

In July of last year, the Dubai Courts announced that its first inheritance department would be opened to non-Muslim residents of the emirates.
