Industrialists Career Exhibition: More than 900 citizens to be hired by private firms in Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi Energy Centre has hosted the three-day career fair thrice since its inauguration in October 2023. With the opening of the Industrialists Career Exhibition on Monday, private companies in Abu Dhabi plan to employ around 900 citizens. During the previous two editions, which took place in October 2023 and April of this year, more than 1,400 Emiratis were successfully hired for the private sector. Additionally, 200 additional Emiratis were hired as a consequence of minor fairs in Ras Al Khaimah.

The fair has set an ambitious goal for its third edition: to attract over 900 citizens, with 93 enterprises participating and 100 chances exclusively for People of Determination. The National In-Country Value Programme (ICV) director at the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MOIAT), Salama Al Awadhi, expressed optimism that the fair will surpass its recruiting target.

The event is run under the Industrialist Program, which is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MOHRE), the Emirati Talent Competitive Council (Nafis), the MOIAT, and the ADNOC Group.
