Indias National Testing Agency announced three exam centres allotted for the NEET 2024 exam in UAE

The Indian High School (IHS) located in Oud Metha, Dubai, was designated as the first NEET medical admission exam site for Indian students in the United Arab Emirates for the current academic year on Tuesday. This occurs one week after the National Testing Agency (NTA) of India revealed the locations of three test centers—one in each of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah—among the fourteen overseas locations designated for the NEET 2024 examination. Regarding the designated NEET centres in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, no formal declaration is available. 

The only admission test for undergraduate medical programmes in India is the NEET (National Eligibility and admission Test), which is administered by NTA on behalf of the Ministry of Education in that country. Up till March 9, candidates can register on the official NEET registration 2024 website. 

The Indian High Group of Schools CEO, Punit MK Vasu, said in a statement that the school has been designated as a NEET centre for the fourth year in a row. The exam, he said, will take place on May 5th, pending permissions.

During the Covid era, NEET was first held in Dubai at The Indian High School.

The NTA also revealed last week how international students might select foreign city centres.

"During the rectification window, candidates who previously picked centres in India and paid the money without having the option to select overseas centres will now have the chance to change their centre and country choice. The registration window will close before this one opens. A circular said, "Candidates in foreign countries who wish to shift their centres to foreign cities can make corrections during this period." However, the agency stated that candidates "will be required to pay the differential amount," thus changes in centre choices could result in increased costs.

According to the agency, applicants from overseas who are enrolling for the first time can choose their desired nation and city right away from the drop-down menu when completing the application procedure. They have to submit their application and pay the required sum.
