Imaginary Art Show at KRASOTA, the storyteller restaurant in Dubai, from December 1
01 Dec 2023
EventThe storytelling restaurant KRASOTA IN Dubai provides a singular culinary experience that blends fine dining, visual art, and immersive scenography. Designed by Boris Zarkov, Anton Nenashev, and Michelin-starred chef Vladimir Mukhin, this theater-restaurant experience blends ideas and cultures to create a unique eating experience through the Medici effect.
The AI-powered multisensory Imaginary Art exhibition offers eight courses that are modelled by works of art from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. After starting their tour with appetisers in an elegant pink hall, guests are taken to a private room for a small, 20-person dinner. There is a narrative regarding the artwork that each meal is partnered with.
In addition, the Imaginary Future presentation uses interactive games, narrative, and pixel-perfect animation to showcase seven futuristic situations. It also features a seven-course futuristic meal.
KRASOTA's Imaginary Art Show is housed in an auditorium with curving walls and a giant circular table that can seat 20 people. It is located at The Address Downtown Hotel. A modern artist's painting is projected throughout the 3D multimedia performance, and each meal on the menu is named after an artwork.
The Artichoke Curry—which draws inspiration from Nicholas Roerich's Himalayas—and the Black Cod, Plum and Fig—which draws inspiration from Ivan Aivazovsky's The 9th Wave—are two of the standout dishes. Eight dishes, eight visual acts, two distinctive drink pairings, and an amuse bouche are all included in the presentation.
