This month, Abu Dhabi will host the return of the International Indian Film Academy Awards, a celebration of all Bollywood. The IIFA Awards, as they are often called, will begin with IIFA Rocks, an evening devoted to music and fashion, which will take place on May 26 and 27 at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island.
The festival will come to a close with an awards night where the best Hindi films and artists from the previous year will be recognised. Top Bollywood performers will also perform throughout the evening, which will be hosted by actors Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal.This month, Abu Dhabi will host the return of the International Indian Film Academy Awards, a celebration of all Bollywood.
The tournament is being held in Abu Dhabi for the second year in a row. The award ceremonies have previously been held in Dubai, Bangkok, New York, Colombo, Amsterdam, Madrid, Florida, Kuala Lumpur, and Macau, among other cities.
A night of music and fashion will be hosted by renowned actor Rajkummar Rao and filmmaker Farah Khan on May 26. Khan previously organised the event the previous year. Rappers Badshah and Raftaar, music director Amit Trivedi, EDM producer Nucleya, and vocalists Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, Anusha Mani, Mika, Sukhbir Singh, and Goldie Sohel will all perform during the evening.
The two-day event's climax, the awards ceremony, will be hosted by Bollywood stars Bachchan and Kaushal on May 27. Salman Khan, IIFA ambassador, along with Varun Dhawan, Kartik Aaryan, Ayushmann Khurranna, Kriti Sanon, Nora Fatehi, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Rakul Preet Singh are among the performers this year. The fan-voted award nominees have not yet been revealed.
Celebrities scheduled to attend the awards ceremony include Riteish and Genelia D'Souza, Kamal Haasan, Alia Bhatt, Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, and Riteish. Along with these individuals, the green carpet will also be walked by actors Aparshakti Khurana, Sunny Kaushal, Mouni Roy, Fardeen Khan, Esha Gupta, Mrunal Thakur, Dia Mirza, Rashii Khanna, and Sheeba Chaddha. Neelam Kothari, Bhavna Pandey, Maheep Kapoor, and Seema Sajdeh will also be represented on the cast of the Netflix reality series The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.
