IACAD launched the Religious Tourism Project in Dubai; will feature the most prominent religious attractions

The Religious Tourism Project in Dubai was introduced by the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai (IACAD) with a number of programmes, projects, and initiatives in the area of Islamic tourism. This was made public on Thursday at a news conference held at the department's main office. By 2025, the initiative hopes to make Dubai the most visited city in the world, achieving the department's ambition of becoming the greatest in the world and Islamically and charitably leading the world in tourism.

It will have three levels and be the first floating mosque ever built. The building will be divided into two halves, one of which will be above the river and have seating spaces and a coffee shop. With ablution and lavatory facilities, the underwater deck will serve as a place of worship for 50–75 attendees. The mosque's construction will cost about Dh55 million in total.

Quranic Park

Visiting the Quranic Park and including a segment on prophetic medicine. The 600,000 square metre Quranic Park is the first park ever created in the world with inspiration from the Quran. This vast park is broken up into several parts that cater to various needs and interests. The park has flora and herbs that are mentioned in the Quran.

The Quranic exhibition

This will detail the trip of Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum's holy Quran, which he produced and distributed in thousands of copies throughout the world between 2000 and 2005.

Ramadan and Eid Market

In Dubai, Ramadan markets will be established next to a few well-known mosques with the intention of luring both Muslim and non-Muslim visitors during the holy months of Ramadan and Eid. This will instruct them on the Islamic faith and assist them in learning about Islamic customs and traditions.

Hala Ramadan

As part of the Hala Ramadan programme, members of many religions congregate in Dubai's new districts. Groups of social, athletic, and instructional programming will be included.

Dubai Iftar

This is a special project that brings individuals of many religions together for breakfast during the holy month of Ramadan.
