Holiday on Prophet Muhammads birthday for the federal government will be on September 15

In a circular published on Saturday, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources declared the birthday of Prophet Muhammad a holiday. 

In accordance with the Cabinet's decision of this year's official holidays, the authority declared that Sunday, September 15, will be the federal government's holiday.

The third month of the Islamic calendar, Rabi' Al-Awwal 1444, is recognised as the Prophet's birthday in the majority of Islamic nations, including those in the Gulf.
