Haj 2025; registration started on September 19 and will remain open until September 30

UAE nationals who wish to undertake the Haj in 2025 can start enrolling on Thursday, September 19, according to the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, and Zakat (Awqaf UAE). The period for registration is open till September 30. 

The Awqaf UAE smart app or their official website are the two ways that applicants can finish the registration procedure. In order to be eligible for registration, candidates need to fulfill the essential requirements: 

- possess UAE citizenship. 

- be at least 12 years of age 

- not carried out Haj in the previous five seasons

Those with terminal illnesses, older people, and their family members and friends will all receive priority for the pilgrimage, as will individuals of detemination on their first journey. 

Authorities in Saudi Arabia have allotted a quota of 6,228 pilgrims from the UAE for the 2019 Haj season... When granting Haj permits and "Nusuk" cards, Awqaf UAE will work with Saudi authorities to make sure pilgrims have complete support, including logistical, legal, and medical assistance. High standards shall be upheld by conducting regular assessments of Haj campaigns and related teams.
