Green Visa in the UAE; Requirements for applying for a Green Visa as a working professional in the UAE

Skilled workers can live and work in the UAE for five years with a Green Visa, which does not require an employer or sponsor.  You must consider these four prerequisites if you wish to apply for a Green Visa in the UAE as a working professional. 

On February 20, the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) of the United Arab Emirates used social media to emphasise the requirements that must be met to qualify for a five-year long-term UAE visa. The ICP has just created the Green Visa, a five-year self-sponsored visa. It enables you to sponsor your family members for an equivalent amount of time as well. 

According to the post from ICP, if a foreign national is a skilled worker and meets the professional classification and standards approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MOHRE), the authority may grant the national a residence permit, also known as a residence visa, allowing the national to work without the need for an employer or sponsor.
