The Global Village will celebrate Diwali from Friday, November 10 to Sunday, November 12. There are 230 stores at the Indian Pavilion, offering genuine clothing and accessories among other items. This place sells a variety of handicrafts, antiques, gold, mementos, and even home décor.
To celebrate the Indian holiday, guests may savour dishes like kebabs and dosas. At the Chaat Bazaar, they may also enjoy some real street cuisine like golgappas and bhelpuri.
Throughout the weekend, the India Pavilion's stage and the main stage will host Bollywood and cultural performances.
This large celebration of Diwali, which combines several customs, is marked by the placing of a clay lamp outside each dwelling as a representation of the inner light that keeps one safe from spiritual darkness.
This family-friendly attraction, which is open from 4 p.m. until midnight, is in its 28th season at Global Village. Guests may choose between two types of tickets: a Dhs25 value ticket that is good from Sunday through Thursday (except public holidays) and a Dhs30 day ticket.
Small children, elderly folks, and determined individuals are all welcome and free of charge. But reserve using the app or online for cheaper tickets for the remaining shows.
