Global Village has announced that the attraction will be changing its opening hours throughout Ramadan. Instead of being open from 4pm until midnight, the family-friendly spot will open 2 hours later, at 6pm, and remain open until 2am.
Global Village will also bring back its Majlis of the World this Ramadan, which is expected to begin on Thursday March 23, where visitors can enjoy iftar or suhoor.
A variety of Ramadan-themed performances including an oud, qanun, harp, cello players, a traditional Tannoura dancer and a close-up magician will entertain majlis guests.
Families and friends can also rent board and card games inside the area.
Global Village is also being given a Ramadan makeover as the spot will be decked out with special décor.
Ramadan-themed shows will also be on the schedule, the highlight being a magnificent 30-piece arabesque orchestra performing twice every night on the Main Stage.
There are two ticket options for visitors entering Global Village. There is a value ticket, valid from Sunday to Thursday (excluding public holidays) and an any-day ticket, available for one-off visits, any time.
The value ticket costs Dhs20 per person and the-any day ticket will be charged at Dhs25.
To get the best price, book online or via the app for a ten percent discount, making the value ticket Dhs18 and the any-day ticket Dhs22.50.
