During the Knowledge Summit 2024, which took place at the Dubai World Trade Center, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) presented the results of the Global Knowledge Index 2024 (GKI 2024).
The GKI acts as a global standard for evaluating the technological, innovative, and educational accomplishments of different countries.
With a score of 60.9, the UAE was rated first in the Arab world and 26th overall. Saudi Arabia and Qatar came next, ranking 39th and 41st, respectively, in the world. 141 countries, including eight new ones, were evaluated by the GKI.
