Global Accelerators Ambassadors Programme; aims to strengthen the UAE's leadership position in promoting government accelerator models and concepts

NewsThe Global Accelerators Ambassadors Programme, a first-of-its-kind initiative showcasing collaboration between the Government Accelerators and foreign organizations, was introduced by the UAE government.
The first cohort began working with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) with the goal of disseminating the UAE government accelerators methodology and equipping the task forces of the international organizations with the skills, know-how, and resources required to expedite the planning and execution of transformative projects.
The second initiative that the Government Accelerators Center at the Prime Minister's Office in the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs has started in collaboration with foreign organizations is the Global Accelerators Ambassadors Programme.
In the presence of Juan Carlos Salazar, Secretary General of the ICAO, Dr. Radhiya Al Hashimi, Executive Director of the Government Accelerators Center, Engineer Saeed Alsuwaidi, UAE Permanent Representative to the ICAO, and several other officials, the program was introduced at a workshop held at the ICAO's headquarters in the Canadian city of Montreal.
The program aims to strengthen the UAE's leadership position in promoting government accelerator models and concepts, creating a platform for knowledge exchange and capacity building on a global scale, which will facilitate the internationalization of the accelerator culture, forging new alliances and fortifying existing ones, and creating frameworks for future cooperation.
