News EventAt Gitex Global, more than 250 Indian IT businesses will be present to showcase their most recent offerings. The five-day event, which is scheduled for October 16–20, will bring together significant global ICT companies.
According to Kamal Vachani, regional director of ESC, a high-level ICT delegation sponsored by the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC), the premier organisation of exporters of IT and related products, will also be present at the world's largest technology exhibition at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Vachani was reappointed by the Council in September 2024 to serve as the honorary regional representative for the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East.
AI-enabled gadgets, financial solutions, cloud computing, cybersecurity, metaverse, educational solutions, telecom solutions, and a variety of other related goods will be among the many Indian products and solutions on show.
Due to ESC's frequent participation in Gitex and other co-located events, the Indian ICT industry gets a unique chance to network with international suppliers of goods and services. According to Gurmeet Singh, executive director of ESC, India boasts over 99,000 businesses, including 108 unicorns, with a combined worth of over $340 billion. This makes the country's continued involvement in the global event even more significant.
In particular, the signing of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement has strengthened bilateral ties between India and the United Arab Emirates.
