Four Dubai Metro stations were closed in the middle of April due to severe rainfall. By May 28th, regular operations will be resumed at these locations. According to a statement from Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), the On Passive, Equiti, Mashreq, and Energy Metro stations will reopen once all maintenance and safety checks are completed and they are prepared to function at the highest standards and efficiency.
RTA announced on May 8th that soon, normal operations for Metro would resume.
From Business Bay to the OnPassive, Mall of the Emirates, Mashreq, Equity, Dubai Internet City, and Al Khail Metro stations, 150 buses will still carry passengers, the government has announced.
All other stations on the Red and Green Lines are operational.
Commuters were encouraged by RTA to avoid traveling during rush hour and to schedule their trips based on operating stations until all stations restore regular operations.
