Foreign vehicles entering the UAE by land at Al Ghuwaifat Port Station must be insured from June 26

According to a recent decision by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP), foreign automobiles entering the United Arab Emirates by land at Al Ghuwaifat Port Station must be insured as of June 26.

In order to make this procedure easier, ICP introduced a new e-service. Foreign cars may now get insurance online prior to arriving at Al Ghuwaifat Port Station. This service reduces paperwork and streamlines the crossing of the port for transitors and passengers utilising a variety of electronic channels, with the goal of increasing client happiness. On the ICP's website, https://aber.shory.com, or by downloading the "Shory Aber" app, which is accessible for iOS and Android devices, you may find information on how to access the service.

Upon arrival at ports, travellers are required to provide evidence of insurance. An official stated that by implementing a smart insurance service for foreign automobiles entering the nation, the ICP is dedicated to offering visitors exceptional services and maintaining effective operations at land ports. Travellers may quickly and easily utilise this service online from any location, saving them time and effort. Additionally, they are not compelled to park their vehicles or look for insurance companies when they arrive.
