'For the World” initiative launched to provide a more personalised and culturally sensitive experience for travellers

'For the World' is a new program of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) that aims to give travelers from different nations a more personalized and culturally sensitive experience.

As part of the program, well-known figures from many nations are invited to speak with immigration officers at airports, land ports, and seaports. They educate them on the national customs, traditions, and preferences of each of these groups.

The carefully selected personas from each nation will watch and record cultural norms and taboos. The program's main goal is to train staff members to offer each traveler exceptional service that is catered to their unique tastes and background.

The program began with Japanese nationals, as the GDRFA hosted a celebrity named "Yani Takashi" who represented Japanese culture by dressing in a traditional kimono. Following the triumphant Japanese encounter, the GDRFA will welcome a Korean guest who will also be dressed traditionally.

Additionally, the GDRFA seeks to "make employees feel as though they are in their own country" by teaching them words from every nation, greeting words, and common words.
