News EventWorld of Coffee (WOC) Dubai 2025 is hosting its first-ever DMCC Specialty Coffee Auction in February, which is sure to be a thrilling event for coffee enthusiasts, collectors, and industry experts.
This event, which is scheduled to take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from Monday, February 10 to Wednesday, February 12, promises to bring some of the rarest and most valuable coffees in the world, with the potential to break records worldwide.
Those who choose to participate in the auction can bid on 20 unique lots of rare specialty-grade coffee, both in person and online.
You'll be getting the best coffee in the world because each lot has received 92 points or better on the Specialty Coffee Association's 100-point scale.
Sales of specialty coffee, such as the Dhs36,777 per kilogram sale of Elida Geisha Natural Torre coffee, demonstrate the market's potential for skyrocketing costs.
It is anticipated to include other uncommon types like kopi luwak from Indonesia (up to Dhs4,400/kg) and black ivory from Thailand (selling for Dhs5,500/kg).
The WOC Dubai itself is a significant occasion. This year, the biggest coffee trade event in the area will have more than 13,500 attendees and more than 400 foreign exhibitors.
