Fines for UAE transport companies that have not registered in the Electronic National System will come into effect from November 1

The last day for UAE transport businesses to register in the Electronic National System for Tracking Trucks and Shipments was October 30. Violations will result in fines starting on November 1. To make sure that they travel the designated routes, the system equips all transit vehicles that use ports and land orders with tracking devices. The tracking devices are taken off the trucks when they get to the port or cross the land border. Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and their byproducts, plant growth regulators, and agricultural chemicals.

The establishment is tasked with creating a comprehensive national framework for clinical and non-clinical investigations and trials related to pharmaceutical research.This is a component of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security's (ICP) strategy to manage the movement of vehicles and goods, guarantee their safe arrival at the predetermined time, and keep an eye out for any potential infractions and abuses. This covers all transit vehicles transporting items with high customs taxes as well as those that are banned or dangerous.

The ICP displayed this technology at the recently concluded Gitex Global, the largest technology expo in the world, held in the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Truck owners who fail to install the tracking devices will be subject to penalties as it is a requirement. The penalty will take effect on November 1st, according to a Gitex Global official at the ICP pavilion.
