NewsReports from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs Dubai (GDRFA) indicate that it may soon just take a few seconds to go through Dubai Airports.
Lt. Hamad Almandoos of the GDRFA stated that this biometric allows people to travel through airports without any documents. Cameras will be installed throughout the airport to snap pictures of people as they pass by and compare them to their documentation.
This technology, dubbed the "future of immigration," will free passengers from waiting in line at any immigration counters and enable them to quickly pass through the airport. Lt. Hamad Almandoos stated, "We have already been testing the system, and it will be launched very soon." "In just a few seconds, it will enable our travellers to proceed directly to security."
With the help of this technology, travellers will be able to pass through Dubai airports without having to bother pulling out their passports and presenting the necessary travel documentation.
