Expo City Dubai will be a key venue for a string of activities during Ramadan

Expo City Dubai will be a key venue to respectfully pay homage to Ramadan, 2023 which will be one of the most significant events on the calendar for anyone living in Dubai.

It will put on a string of activities for the Hai Ramadan neighbourhood festival, running from March 3 to April 25. For the occasion, local vendors have been invited to help celebrate the spirit of the Holy Month – bringing their handicrafts, activities and dining options for all to enjoy.

During the Holy Month, Muslims are required to elevate their level of spiritual and physical submission to their faith by way of fasting.

The abstention from eating and drinking is intended to last from dawn until dusk throughout the 30-day period.

Work and school hours are cut short.

This year, Ramadan is most likely to fall on Thursday, March 23.

The March 23 estimate comes from predictions made by the International Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences in the UAE.
