Expo City Dubai launches the region's first Artificial Intelligence Film Festival to enhance creative storytelling and advance the filmmaking landscape

With the debut of the first Artificial Intelligence Film Festival (AIFF) in the region, Expo City Dubai is advancing technological innovations and strengthening its position as a hub for Artificial Intelligence (AI) innovation. The festival will examine how AI technology can improve creative storytelling and change the film industry. The hybrid AIFF will be the region's premier event to celebrate and advance the convergence of cinema and AI, highlighting the symbiotic relationship between human creativity and technology. It will be hosted by Expo City Dubai and have a dedicated website to allow virtual visitors to explore the festival remotely.

Expo City Dubai is now known as the hub of AI innovation, a society that is focused on the future, and a global forum for cooperation on important concepts thanks to the event. AIFF will feature a variety of exciting experiences over the course of nearly six months, including a global competition, cutting-edge film screenings, lively panel discussions with renowned AI experts and filmmakers, and practical workshops that provide insights into AI integration in film production. All of these activities will show how AI can be used to improve the filmmaking process.

Professional and amateur filmmakers from all around the world are asked to enter a short film that uses AI-generated content for the competition, which begins on Tuesday. On February 29, 2024, there will be an awards event when the winning entries will be displayed.
