Expo 2020 Dubai Museum will open to the public with free entry on May 18

On May 18, International Museum Day, the public can visit the Expo 2020 Dubai Museum without charge. The museum will include behind-the-scenes looks at the Dubai Expo 2020 adventure.

Combined admission to the new museum and the three Stories of Nations exhibitions in the city is free on May 18 and 19. Additionally, visitors can receive a 50% discount on all other attractions, including Terra, Alif, the Women's and Vision Pavilions, and Garden in the Sky.

For younger visitors, the Expo 2020 Dubai Museum offers interactive exhibitions in mixed media.

The museum showcases the 1970s UAE's first attempt at participating in a world expo, the idea and bid for Expo 2020, the master plan design and site construction, the difficulties caused by the pandemic and postponement, the opening ceremony, and the six-month event. The museum will also pay tribute to the effects and lasting legacy of the World Expo.

Every 30 minutes, the museum in the Opportunity District offers guided tours. Other attractions include an Expo 2020 library, a shop selling mementos from the event, including the opportunity to gather more nation stamps for Expo "passports," and conference rooms that can be rented out.

Expo City's one-day Attractions Pass, which costs AED 120, will include admission to the museum starting on May 20. Alternatively, guests can pay Dh50 (Dh40 for children ages 4 to 11) for a combined ticket to the Expo 2020 Museum and the three Stories of Nations displays. Children under three get free admission.
