From spectacular fireworks, retail offers and deals, raffles and prizes, and other exciting events, there will be spectacular celebrations across Dubai this Eid Al Adha. Moreover, this year “Eid Al Adha” coincides with the opening weekend of Dubai Summer Surprise, filling in more excitement and activities.
Retail offers:
Clothing, footwear, accessories, perfumes, home décor, and gadgets will be offered for up to 75% off regular prices at stores around Dubai. Another reason to buy jewellery during Eid Al Adha is that Dubai Jewellery Group's 150 locations will be providing up to 75% off diamond and pearl pieces, and 50% off gold, with unique Eid goods such as a free gold coin. Shoppers will also be placed into a lottery with prizes worth up to Dh100,000 for every Dh1,000 spent.
Fireworks:
Residents and tourists could witness fireworks at Dubai Festival City on the second day of Eid Al Adha on June 29 at 9 p.m. The record-breaking and immersive laser and light display, Imagine, which began on June 28, was on display after sunset.
Rewards:
There are life-changing rewards up for grabs. One fortunate winner will receive Dh500,000 in cash simply by paying Dh10 on the Idealz app or website. In addition, the Dubai Shopping Malls Group is organising an Eid Al Adha lottery. Registered consumers will receive a digital lottery ticket with a chance to win cash prizes up to Dh200,000 when they spend Dh200 at one of the 18 participating community malls. There are a total of 22 winners, with drawings taking place on June 28, 29, and 30.
From June 28 to July 9, Mercato Mall will host its Circus Fiesta, which will feature shows and family-friendly activities for all ages. Shoppers may also join a special prize draw to win a Cadillac Escalade worth Dh 491,000 for every Dh200 spent.
Electrifying shows:
The Eid weekend will be jam-packed with spectacular musical acts. A one-night-only concert by Hussain Al Jassmi and Kadim Al Sahir, two of the Arab world's most prominent vocalists, is the hottest ticket in town. On July 2, they will perform live at the Coca-Cola Arena. The iconic entertainer and Saudi icon Mohamed Abdo will only perform at the same location for one night. The 'Artist of the Arabs' will perform a stunning Eid extravaganza at the Coca-Cola Arena on July 1 at 8 p.m.
Fans of comedy will also enjoy a live presentation of their renowned Parenting Hell podcast by UK headlining comedians Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe at Dubai Opera on July 3.
Meet Super Heroes:
For superhero lovers, Nakheel Mall has organised the chance to meet Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and The Flash from the Justice League, every day from 2pm to 10pm, from June 29 to July 29. While at Ibn Battuta Mall, in India Court and Egypt Court, Batman fans can enjoy the Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight experience, which offers interactive and virtual reality experiences, workshops, meet-and-greets, and more from June 29 to July 29, daily from 2pm to 10pm.
Emirati band:
Meanwhile, a traditional Emirati band will performed from 4pm on the first and second days of Eid at City Centre Mirdif, City Walk, Dubai Festival City, and Ibn Battuta Mall, and on the second and third days of Eid at Deira City Centre, Nakheel Mall, Circle Mall, The Outlet Village, and Festival Plaza Mall.
