Etihad announced flights will operate once every day between Boston and Abu Dhabi beginning 27 October

With effect from October 27, Etihad has announced that there would be one daily flight from Boston to Abu Dhabi. Following the introduction of Boston as its fourth American destination, along with Chicago, New York, and Washington, DC, three months ago, Etihad Airways made the choice.

Before boarding, travellers can also get through US immigration and customs procedures at Abu Dhabi's Zayed International Airport. The airport in the Middle East is home to the sole US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility.

Travellers may just pick up their baggage and leave the UAE once their flight arrives in the US. All inspections have been completed before takeoff.

Etihad has announced that starting on October 27, it would start operating an Airbus A350 once daily to Toronto Pearson Airport in Canada, in addition to boosting the number of flights it operates out of Boston.

The Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines powering the Airbus A350 make it one of the most efficient aircraft models in the world. The aeroplane emits 25% less CO2 and uses 25% less fuel than earlier models.

Modern Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners equipped with Etihad's much-lauded Business Studios and Economy Smart seats are used on the airline's regular flights between Boston Logan International Airport and Abu Dhabi.

Etihad also has a partnership with JetBlue, which allows travellers to visit several destinations in North America with easy connections.
