Etihad Airways has announced the addition of 10 new destinations starting July 2025, further expanding its network from Abu Dhabi to major cities across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. The new routes include Atlanta, Taipei, Medan, Phnom Penh, Krabi, Tunis, Chiang Mai, Hong Kong, Hanoi, and Algiers.
These destinations were chosen to meet the growing demand from tourists and residents from these countries living in the UAE and the region. Etihad will also become the only airline offering non-stop flights to these locations, enhancing connectivity and convenience. The addition of flights to Tunis and Algiers is expected to benefit the substantial Tunisian and Algerian communities in the UAE.
With Atlanta joining the roster, Etihad will now fly directly to five US cities, including New York, Washington, Chicago, and Boston. The airline projects 2025 to be a record-breaking year, forecasting over 20 million passengers to more than 90 destinations, compared to the 10 million passengers carried to 64 destinations in 2022.
Etihad's European connectivity has also seen significant growth, with two daily flights now offered to major cities such as London, Dublin, Paris, Brussels, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Milan, Rome, Barcelona, Athens, Geneva, Madrid, and Moscow, compared to limited frequencies just 18 months ago.
