Etihad Airways started flights to three key destinations enhancing its connectivity

The UAE's main airline, Etihad Airways, has started flights to three important locations, keeping up with its promise of expansion and improved connectivity. Dusseldorf, Germany (DUS) and Copenhagen, Denmark (CPH) saw the start of inaugural services on September 28 and September 29, respectively. Osaka, Japan (KIX) and subsequently Copenhagen (CPH) followed on October 1.

The airline has also announced higher frequency flights to well-traveled cities including Colombo, Sri Lanka, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (KUL). The extra flights are part of a package of new routes and greater frequencies created to satisfy consumer demand for additional ways to visit Abu Dhabi and to offer even more connection to Etihad's expanding worldwide network.

Malaga, Mykonos, Lisbon, Kolkata, St. Petersburg, Dusseldorf, Copenhagen, Osaka, and Boston are among the nine additional destinations that Etihad has previously confirmed would be launched this year. Additionally, the airline has unveiled two new routes to the Indian subcontinent, Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram, which will begin service in January 2024.
