Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has introduced an automated web chat function that walks users through a series of questions before outlining the necessary travel paperwork, tickets, and visa requirements, among other things.
This new tool aims to give travelers up-to-date information on the necessary documents well in advance of their trip.
Passengers only need to click the 'Get In Touch' part of the Help page on etihad.com to access the system. Next, they may select the 'Travel Guidelines and Transit Information' option from the chat menu.
The carrier claims that by implementing the automated option, travelers would no longer have to waste time searching the internet or getting in touch with customer support centers to check their needs for travel documentation.
