Etihad Airways has announced its A380 double-decker to New York JFK will commence operation on April 22, 2024

The national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, Etihad Airways, has said that it would begin operating double-decker flights to New York JFK on April 22, 2024. With the launch of the A380, Etihad's capacity in the vital US market has been greatly increased, allowing it to connect to the larger GCC and the Indian subcontinent. It will also draw more tourists who want to experience the charms of the energetic metropolis of Abu Dhabi.

One of the two daily Etihad flights to New York will be operated by the A380. The airline operating the other daily aircraft will be a 787-9 with First, Business, and Economy class seats.

After London, the US route is now the second location to take advantage of the amazing A380 experience since Etihad brought its superjumbo back into service.
