Emirates will be offering more flights to Osaka, Japan, beginning on June 1, with the arrival of the A380. The airline's newest offering, Premium Economy, will be installed on the A380 that will be sent to Osaka, making it the second gateway in Japan to use the updated aircraft.
Along with adding the much-desired Premium Economy Class for passengers and updating the First, Business, and Economy Class cabin décor, the enhanced service will improve seat capacity on flights to and from Japan's second-largest city. Emirates' Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which now operates the EK316/EK317 service to and from Osaka's Kansai International Airport (KIX), will be replaced on June 1 by a four-class A380 operated by the airline.
Emirates will provide 910 extra weekly seats between Dubai and Osaka as a result of improved A380 operations, giving passengers more options to connect to and from Dubai to well-liked travel destinations including Milan, Madrid, Brazil, Paris, and London. In 2023, Emirates transported over 220,000 passengers on over 360 flights between the two gateways, marking the 20th anniversary of the airline's services between Dubai and Osaka last year.
Emirates' four-class A380, which is being deployed to Osaka, has 338 ergonomically built Economy Class seats, 56 lie-flat Business Class seats, 14 First Class suites, and 56 Premium Economy Class seats. Extensive beverage selections, a creative cuisine, and well-chosen in-flight amenities seal the deal. Up to 6,500 channels of films, TV shows and music may be found on Emirates' 'ice' in-flight entertainment system. The airline's first class customers will get exclusive access to the airline's opulent shower facility, while business class travellers will have access to the onboard lounge. Also available to guests are meals made with carefully chosen delicacies from all around the globe and Emirates' renowned, award-winning hospitality.
