Emirates lounge at Concourse B of Dubai International Airport is undergoing refurbishment

NewsThe UAE airline Emirates said on Friday that part of the meals would not be served to customers as renovations are being done to its lounge at Concourse B of Dubai International Airport (DXB).
First-class travellers on the airline are catered to at this lounge. First Class Lounge perks include free Wi-Fi, spa services, priority boarding, business centre access, and a peaceful space for passengers.
First class passengers and Emirates Skywards Platinum members are admitted free of charge to the First Class lounge.
Travellers can pay to enter the lounges in Dubai and certain other countries if they are not eligible for free admittance. The airline offers contactless face recognition for passengers to enter its airport lounge in Concourse B. With only a brief snapshot at check-in, travellers may register for a biometric airport route.
Emirates serves meals on 490 aircraft each day, or 149 meals per minute, for a daily total of 215,000 meals served worldwide. To prepare these meals in the expansive Emirates Flight Catering Facility in Dubai and at partner caterers throughout the globe, 1,400 cooks are needed.
